What they did

Solo founder manages 60-70 creators in-house with no team: one big WhatsApp group plus regular one-on-one chats giving feedback on their videos and checking they are doing well. He does not micromanage but spends most of his time on it, because creators are his distribution.

JosephThat's crazy. Do you just have like a WhatsApp, like a giant WhatsApp group with like everyone?

JayYeah, I do have that. Um, and I also talk to them like one-on-one. Um, I mean, of course not like all the time, but, um, I'm I'm definitely like very involved, and, um, I feel like that's something that's like, you know, led to a lot of the success. Um, I think I spend like a lot of my time talking to creators, giving them feedback, you know, making sure that they're doing well. And yeah, it's it's a lot of time. Um, look at my WhatsApp, it's it's, uh, it's crazy in there.

Jay[laughs] There's so many messages. But I think it really does pay dividends. Um, I think, uh, when you have like, um I think I mean, you know, with with apps like this, distribution's everything. So, I think it's it's time that's, you know, well um worth investing in, 'cause, you know, they are kind of like my power, they're my distribution. So, I'll absolutely spend like most of my time, um, with that, happily.
