Koby Conrad - I speedran an ai app from 0 to $1m/yr in 10 months
JosephThat's really cool. Are you able to show your trial reminder UI?
KobyThis is the data for this experiment. But yeah, so we had a 48% increase in our revenue by adding in trial reminders, but what was crazy, too, is that the the mix between monthlies and annuals was also much more massive. So we had a plus 70% increase in the annual revenue, and uh yeah, that's the that's the results.
JosephBig lift. Trial Okay, so trial conversions, yeah, 46% increase in trial conversions, and 30% increase in trials. So putting the trial reminder probably helps with the trial starts, would you say that's the biggest metric that it moves?
JosephCould we see the design of the onboarding screen that kind of gets them to like reduce that trial anxiety?
KobyUh. So we were like A/B testing like a couple different versions of it, and then this was like the priming, so we're like, "We want you to try Sunflower for free. We'll remind you before your trial ends," and then, boom, we hit you with the paywall.
JosephI like how there's like a cute little bee with cartoon eyes. I feel like that just reduces my anxiety when I go into a pay Like just seeing a paywall with no like cartoon character, I'm just like, "Ah, these guys are just trying to get money out of me." But then it's like, "Oh, this this cute little bee is like wants to offer the app for free to me." It's like It feels a lot nicer.
