Offer the same user a free trial three or four times over time
Effective in aggregate across attempts, per guest; no numbers

What they did
Users are eligible for multiple free trials, spread over time, because they are in different life stages or didn't get to experience the benefits the first time. Each user faces the purchase decision three or four times. (Apple allows the intro offer once per SKU, so this needs workarounds.)
What happened
Aggregated across the multiple decisions, guest calls it an effective lever.
This shipped together with other changes, so the result can't be credited to this alone.
In their words
Sub Club by RevenueCat · How Clarity and Personalization Help Drive Duolingo’s Growth – Anmol Tiwari, Duolingo“users are not always in the same lifecycle stage. And so there's advantages in having multiple trials for us.”
“And of course, aggregated across those, we'd see that it's an effective lever.”
