What they did
After launch, an app gets the App Store new-app boost, which fades. He watches whether it keeps falling, stabilizes or grows; an app that is not sinking has potential. Later he revisits apps showing organic traction or retention, polishes them, fixes bugs and adds ads to double down and grow them.

- Launch (Post-launch)
“When you just ship the app, you get this famous App Store boost, but then over time it fades away. And then I see if it keeps going down or it's kind of stabilize or even growing. And if the app is not syncing, it means it has potential.”
“So after sometime, I do revisit apps that show organic traction or retention. And for once the ones that flowed, I start improving them, do some polishing, do some bug fixes, and add ads just to double down on the results and to make sure that they grow.”
