What they did
Commenters posted their lifts ('I benched 220 lb for five reps, what is that?'). Co-founder Jack stitched each comment, typed the lift into the app on camera and held the phone up: 'That's two blue whales / 500 bowling balls'. Viewers kept commenting new lifts, creating an endless loop of content. Guest recommends it again now: a real face on camera stands out against faceless AI content.

The Superwall Podcast · Peter Gillan - My App Makes $600k/Year Using This Easy Growth Strategy (copy me)“So, we got a lot of comments about people saying like, "I lifted, you know, I benched-pressed 220 lb for five reps. What is that?" And then we would just stitch that video.”
“And people just kept commenting with different random objects, so we had a series of videos kind of went viral.”
