Keep the button for your top paid feature on screen, not in a menu
Hiding it cut paywall views ~10-20% for months; putting it back restored them

What they did
The paywall opens when a free user taps a premium feature (Dropbox export, OCR text recognition). A redesign of the scanned-documents screen moved the OCR button into a drawer. Months later, paywall-display analytics (tracked per entry feature) showed fewer displays; the cause was masked by seasonality guesses. Moving the button back restored displays. They now watch metrics more regularly.
What happened
Hidden OCR button cut paywall displays by roughly 10-20% (guest guesses ~20% fewer purchases, as it was a high-intent entry); unnoticed for months; restoring it clearly brought results back.
