Nic Weber - Meet The Guy Who Solved TikTok
Nic WeberYeah, I mean, just open any of these Lingo Pingo examples. This is probably what people are most familiar with. This is the result of us basically handing our creators the idea that we think goes viral, an example for them to kind of look at of one that was similar. I think that the originator of this trend was some random woman who just made something she thought was funny of her like crying, pronounce some word on Google.
Nic WeberWhen you're on Google Translate, on the search engine results page, it tells you, you know, how to say this word correctly, and she's just fumbling over it and crying, right? And then this concept can be applied to any language. And so these examples were shown to the creators. We give them the exact instructions on what to do, how to prompt the app, why it specifically works, why it's funny, using, you know, an innuendo and having the app roast you.
Nic WeberAnd we went to sleep and woke up the next day, and this already had like 20 million views on it. This format just absolutely ripped all through October and November of people crying to the app, the app roasting them, or 15 different variations of it.
Joseph ChoiThe concept of AI being mean to you, I feel like that is very applicable across different niches, too. And then if your app is about AI itself, maybe it's like a GPT wrapper in some vertical, like the video will be about the app itself. So you're probably going to get these comments that say, "What's the app?" And then that's like very high-converting.
