Say 'I make $20 a night, an extra $500 a month' instead of big earnings

Joseph ChoiSo it seems like people are by default not that skeptical. I think people were just like, "Oh, how do you do it? Like how does this actually work?"

Nic WeberWe've tried, "I've made $7,000," and whatever. And the crazy thing is like we have users that have made $7,000 in a week on our platform. But as soon as they say that, everyone's like, "Oh no, this is a scam. I don't believe it at all." So that's where it's like we take $20 seems super achievable, right? Anyone can imagine a $20 bill in their hand, but then they're bad at math. So you say, "Oh, it's actually an extra $500 a month."

Nic WeberAnd then that 500 is where they anchor on of, "Oh, my car payment is like $498 a month. Like that would be my car payment. That would be incredible."

Nic WeberWe figured this out way in the old days when we were doing our last app. It doesn't even matter if you show people receipts. Like if I show you my bank stub of how much I've made posting on Noise, everyone's just like, "Nope, that's fake. There's no way that's real." And so for us, it was a lot of just re-centering people. And there's still a lot of skepticism, right? Because the internet's full of that.
