What they did

For a dating app (the RizzGPT era), Yannis built a clone of Tinder's messaging screen and programmatically generated viral-style conversations with the product worked in, letting the computer run and screen-record them. This allowed testing many angles. Content was posted by a first fleet of 'reposters': warmed-up accounts behaving like real users, while creative control stayed in-house. Earlier formats were slideshows at scale and animations.

Yannis Chaouche… a good product, knowing how to communicate about it is kind of like should be part of the team and the people who build the product. And so, that's why I always try to keep as little as possible outside in terms of the creative process. And so, that's what led to like more programmatic stuff. So, first we beat like, you know, slideshow creation at scale, and then a bit of, you know, animations, and then we thought, figured out some formats

Yannis Chaouchearound, you know, uh, texting. So, basically it was a dating product, and you had RizzGPT at the time, all those guys, and we incorporated those techniques where I built like a clone of Tinder, and then only the iMessage, and we would generate conversations that were viral, and incorporate the product in it, but it was fully programmatic, right? And so, that would allow us to test various angles, and we just I would just let the computer run, and screen-record all those conversation on a Tinder messaging clone.

Joseph ChoiReally interesting. I think there's two parts that I want to dive into in this conversation. The first one is how do you find those angles and the formats that will go viral, and then also get you engagement, and then also, ultimately, get you downloads for an app, and to actually drive revenue?
