Scanemon · B2C · Pokemon card scanner app
Put the app's name on the scanner screen so every video shows it
Founder thinks it lifts conversion; no data yet

What they did
Added the Cardstock logo at the top of the scanner. Scanemon has a hidden setting, used by the content team, that shows the app promo/brand name and marketing text in the scanner for videos and slideshows (not shown to normal users). Idea copied from Fig and Cal AI's scanners, even though it breaks Apple's design guidance. Rationale: conversion from organic content is almost impossible to measure, so make every small tweak that should raise it.
What happened
Kyle believes it's 'super important' but says they lack data to back it.

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Kyle Fowler - How I make $42k/mo passively with simple no-code apps (copy me)“One big thing we did do, though, is eventually we added uh In the scanner, it says like Cardstock at the top, like a bit like there's a logo within the scanner, and that's big, I think.”
“Like Jacob and Pack, when they make this, there's a setting in Scanemon that allows you to like show the the app promo there.”
“It's it's really hard to measure conversion rate in organic content, almost impossible, actually. So, you might as well not take your chances and do the random little tweaks that'll up it when you can.”
