Unlock a secret prize shop after 30 successful invites, for creators with small followings
Spread 'like wildfire'; about 5% of all users came this way

What they did
Noticed some early users with social followings were bringing in hundreds or thousands of invites by sharing their link. Saw a gap: creators with ~5,000-50,000 followers had no easy way to monetize (brand deals go through agencies, slow approvals, unclear attribution, long payment cycles). Built a secret marketplace section that opens once a user has 30 successful invites, where invites convert into bigger prizes (Anton's made-up example: 1,000 invites for a PlayStation, 5,000 for a flat-screen TV). This grew into the Influencer Hub, a VIP version of the app with more prizes and service.
What happened
Spread quickly among 5K-50K-follower creators; accounted for about 5% of all users. No paid acquisition at that stage.

In their words
Sub Club by RevenueCat · How to Turn Gamification Into a Retention Powerhouse — Anton Derlyatka, Sweatcoin“And I'm not talking about like 10, 20, 30 invites, we're talking like hundreds, sometimes thousands.”
“we created a special marketplace, or a special level, that would only open up to a user if they invited 30 people successfully.”
“because lots of people with anywhere between 5,000 and 50,000 followers, which is, again, not massive, but it's not insignificant either, they kind of had a way of essentially turning their following following into something very tangible very quickly.”
