I Built A $1M App In 5 Hours
Dawson Botsford, ex-Uber engineer, built Earnifi (finds unclaimed Ethereum airdrops for an address) in 4-5 hours during a month-long hackathon. A launch tweet with a demo video drove 10,000 organic sign-ups in 48 hours. He monetized by paywalling every airdrop claim, emailed users only when they had money to claim, never ran paid ads, and leaned on Twitter stunts and crypto conferences. Grew to 250,000 free users, 5,000 paid users and >$1M ARR over two years solo, then sold to Bankless and became its CTO.
