I make $120K/year from 3 mobile apps (The Wellness.Company Breakdown)

Presh, a college dropout who spent seven years at the angel investor Launch, runs The Wellness Company, a studio of niche health apps: Go Polar (cold plunge and sauna tracking), SunSeek (morning light and vitamin D) and Posture AI, with Tempo (health data aggregator) about to launch. The apps target one overlapping audience so new apps can be marketed to existing users. In 10 months: ~$10.4K/month (~$120K ARR), 20,000+ downloads mostly from organic App Store search, 1,500+ paying subscribers, ~8% free-to-paid conversion, 80-85% margins.

The Wellness Company · B2C · studio of health apps

Users overlap across apps; three apps reached ~$120K a year combined

Every app targets the same health and wellness audience (cold plunge and sauna tracking, morning light, posture, and next a health data aggregator). Many Go Polar users also use SunSeek and Posture AI. When a new app launches, it is marketed to existing users of the other apps, so there is no need to build a new audience or list, and the marketing isn't cold.

Go Polar · B2C · cold plunge and sauna tracker

Became one of the studio's main apps; ~8% free-to-paid, which he credits to niche focus

Presh liked tracking his activities against wearable metrics. Searching the App Store, he found no good app to track niche activities like cold plunges, saunas and cold showers, so he built Go Polar to track them with Apple Watch or iPhone (heart rate trend, water temperature). He argues that feeling the pain yourself means you build a better product than competitors and care enough to add the extra details.

Second app was better built on day one than the first; no numbers

Set up The Wellness Company as a product studio because he didn't know which app would win. Launched Go Polar, then SunSeek, then Posture AI, treating each app as another repetition of building product. SunSeek was crafted better than Go Polar on day one because of the reps.

Uses Lovable to test MVP ideas before building the native iOS app (built with Claude Code and Xcode). His playbook suggests building an MVP quickly with Lovable, Replit or Bolt rather than overthinking the solution.
