Price tiers by how many states you cover: 1 state, 2 states, or everywhere
Guest says users instantly get the difference between tiers; top tier is $100
Workedpricingpaywall
What they did
Hunt's tiers map to a real user problem, access across the country: Premium covers one state, a Premium two-state package covers two, and Elite ($100) covers all 50 states plus Canada and Mexico, each with different durations. Shown at onboarding/paywall so users can grasp the difference immediately, unlike tiers sliced as arbitrary feature baskets. Guest advises not adding a second tier until there is a clear user need, since extra tiers add business complexity.
What happened
Guest says it 'works really well' because users coming through onboarding can easily understand the value difference between tiers.

In their words
Sub Club by RevenueCat · How to Increase Monetization with Targeted Upsells — Brandon Gador, onX Maps“we have our premium product, which is one state, but we also have a premium two-state package, and then we have our our top tier, which is elite, which is access to all 50 states plus Canada and Mexico.”
“what really works well with the Hunt tiering package is that like it's baked in a a user problem around the access that you get across the country.”
