Set a $1M daily budget on Meta, but cap total spend and bids to control it
More high-quality traffic at stable cost for some accounts; others got no or runaway delivery

What they did
For large accounts (already ~50K/day) trying to reach 100K/day. Set the campaign daily budget to $1M so Meta stops pacing spend across the day, but always with a campaign spend limit (e.g. $50K) plus bid caps or cost caps at every level. Start caps 10-20% below current cost per purchase (e.g. $45 vs $50) and raise slowly if there's no delivery. When happy with the first $50K, raise the spend limit to $100K, and so on. Suggested by Meta; tested earlier in the year across multiple accounts. Not for beginners.
What happened
Worked quite well for several accounts (more higher-quality traffic, stable performance); for others there was no delivery or it spent too fast, forcing them to restart at 10-20K/day.

Sub Club by RevenueCat · Creative Misfires, False Positives, and Meta's Auction Flaws — Alper Taner, Stealth-Mode App Studio“Another example is the capped inflated budget strategy where we have a million dollars a day budget at the campaign level, which is not a good advice unless you put a campaign spend limits in place.”
“And we tried this for multiple accounts and we had some great results. It didn't work for also some. They didn't get delivery or when they get delivery, it was too quick, too much, and then they had to start at a 10K and 20K and so on per day and so on.”
