What they did
Built V1 as a web app in about a week with AI coding (Supabase, Vercel, Mailgun, Stripe, OpenAI API, Tavily search API, Claude Code), charged from the start with Stripe, and skipped polish like logos. Web revenue and feedback came first; a few months later he built a native Swift iOS app (Vercel backend, Supabase, RevenueCat, Superwall paywall A/B tests).
What happened
Web did ~$45K over 3 months; iOS app did ~$14K and 397+ active subscribers in its first month

“You can ship a web app today and get someone to pay for your products by tonight if you ship on the internet. Don't spend hours picking a logo, don't polish anything, just build something, put it on the internet, and charge money for it.”
“You'll be getting revenue from day one and feedback for improvements when you eventually build out the mobile app.”
