Score every app idea 1-5 on interest, skill and opportunity, then build the top one
Founder says it picked his successful products; no numbers

What they did
Dump every idea into a Notion table. Score interest, expertise and opportunity; a formula averages them and you pick the highest. Opportunity gets a point each for: demand, revenue proof, a balanced competition level (too little = no market; only one successful product is a red flag), retention (solves a real problem or truly entertaining) and timing (new platform features, new models, social trends). Expertise scores 1-4 on: can I build it, can I market it, do I understand the product, can I monetize it. Research with Foreplay, AdSpy (competitor Meta ads), Sensor Tower, Appfigures, Google Trends and TikTok view counts for keywords; validation usually takes no more than about a week.
What happened
Guest credits the process for picking his successful products.
- Stage
- Pre-launch (idea selection)
“just put anything into the Notion table, then add like ranking from all the category, how much you interested in it, what is the opportunity, and then just make it data-driven and measurable”
“if there is too low competition, probably there is no product, no opportunity, or maybe if there's like demand and revenue proof, but there's only one product, for example, it's a red flag”
