Give creators a one-page list of hooks that work, then let them improvise

Founder says it balanced freedom and quality; low-effort hooks were rejected

Workedugc-creators

What they did

Recruited creators who already made TikTok-style videos. Sent them an A4 document: the app, what the team thinks is good marketing, and the triggers/hooks that work for their customers, inviting them to adapt in their own style. Contracts allowed rejecting a creative when the hook was obviously low effort. Formats: talking-head 'I found this app' videos, green screen over a Notes-app to-do list, and lifestyle 'I couldn't believe it was possible' videos.

What happened

Occasionally produced a 'diamond' creative worth hundreds of thousands in profit.

“we would simply provide them with an A4 uh a A4 document telling them, "Hey, we think this is good marketing. This is our app. These are the kind of triggers, the hooks, uh that work for our type of customers.”
