Caption every ad and film the creator over a green-screen demo of the app
Distilled from ~$1.5M of spend; the format behind $100K MRR

What they did
Three rules from years of Meta testing: (1) always burn in captions because most users watch Instagram muted; (2) use green screen so a person talks while a large app demo plays behind them (features, value prop); (3) go hard on hooks in the first 5 seconds, both copy angle and the visual. Typical structure: hook around a desired outcome ('I can't believe I just discovered this app'), then ~30 seconds of product demo.
What happened
The final, sequential ads encode the learnings behind scaling to $10K/day and $100K MRR.
This shipped together with other changes, so the result can't be credited to this alone.
In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Alex Vech - Copy This Facebook Ads Strategy, It'll Blow Up Your SaaS“Uh and so, very important, number one, have the captions.”
“Second thing, for us, in the app business, to use green screen. Why not? You have a person that is talking to you, and then on the back, you can have a huge app demoing like your cool features, your cool value prop, all these things.”
“because the first 5 seconds are the most important part of the ad, and go crazy with the hooks, I would say, not just not just as far as the copywriting angle, but also as the image angle, video angle.”
