Default to a 7-day trial; offer 14 or 30 days to people who close the paywall
Converts better as a fallback, clients say; anecdotal

What they did
Main onboarding paywall offers a 7-day free trial. If the user dismisses it or cancels the trial, follow up with a 14- or 30-day trial offer. Do not make the long trial the default.
What happened
Host has heard anecdotally from clients that the longer trial converts better as a fallback; 7-day remains best as the default.
“what I've typically seen is seven-day trials convert the like are the best for that dominant, you know, onboarding paywall, but if people cancel that trial or they say no to that paywall, maybe think about doing a longer trial”
“if they don't want to sign up and they dismiss that paywall, then do that 14, 30-day trial. Don't make that the default.”
