Offer a student discount plan, then open it in the 7-10 countries asking most

Small but positive revenue at first; international launch 'done really well'

Workedpricinglocalization

What they did

Introduced a student plan (Keya's era), partly for mission and access, betting students would stay on as professionals and parents. Tested whether the volume was additive to revenue. Later, when international student-plan requests became a top support ticket driver, launched it in the top 7-10 requesting countries (Shreya's era).

What happened

Revenue value was positive but minuscule next to overall consumer and B2B revenue; rolled out anyway. The international expansion saw a lot of adoption and member love.

“One of the top ticket drivers was actually requests for international support for that student plan.”
Shreya Oswal
“I think we focused on the top 7 to 10 where we were getting the most requests. And that's done really well.”
