What they did
Recruit creators (mostly newer, less experienced ones, though strategy can vary) who each set up a separate account and post 10-12 videos a week, posing as students who discovered Jungle and are generously sharing the find. At about 30 creators that is close to 400 videos a week. The team trains creators and gives feedback on their videos.
What happened
Around $2 CPMs, far better than influencer marketing, and it feels profitable overall. The guest warns it is a temporary growth hack: StudyTok is saturating and viewers notice when every video on a profile mentions the same tool.
In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Julian Alvarez - This ai study app makes $100k/mo. here's how (no-code)“They create their own separate accounts, and we basically have them post like 10 to 12 videos a week. Very high content throughput. At like 30 creators, that means we're getting like close to 400 videos per week.”
“the whole idea is that these people pose as students that like discovered this amazing tool, Jungle, and are kind of like wanting to share the alpha in an organic way.”
“we're able to get basically like around $2 CPMs or so, that varies a little bit up and down, but it's pretty good and way better than influencer marketing. It's hard to know for sure, but it does feel like profitable, overall.”
