Have an AI agent publish one guide a day for keywords you show for but don't get clicks on

Traffic grows in step with new guides; one quality post a day, not bulk

Workedseocontent

What they did

He wrote GUM, open-source command-line tools with an MCP layer over Google services including Google Search and Google Keyword Planner. Every morning Claude (or Codex) runs through the data, finds keywords where the site is shown but gets no clicks (e.g. 16,000 impressions at position ~50), writes an optimized guide for that keyword and publishes it. Cadence is about one guide a day, deliberately not bulk AI content; he checks that guides are high quality, not 'vomit of words'. Google takes 3-4 days to register a new guide. He says 99% of the remaining work is this morning run.

What happened

He sees traffic growth correlate with new guides, and that traffic converts into downloads.

“I wrote this library called GUM. It's just open source command line tools with MCP on top of all Google services, including Google Search and Google Keyword Planner.”

“And so, what it does, it's runs through Keyword Planner every single morning, looks at all the traffic, identifies keywords that are being surfaced, but not essentially being driven to the site.”

“So, like you can see your site was showed 16,000 times for this keyword, but no clicks because you are like number 50. And so then, it takes that and optimizes, creates this guide, and then the guide is essentially published.”

“And it's usually publishing one a day, and that's it. Google likes the fact that there's like not a lot of content coming, but the content is like high quality, like I make sure that the content is not just like vomit of words.”

“99% of the stuff that is left to be done is Claude waking up every morning and then running the guide, and that's kind of it.”
