Build a novel app whose wow moment shows in a 5-second video

What they did
Ideas need uniqueness (catches eyes), helpfulness (stickiness) and a 'gotcha' moment that conveys what the app does in ~5 seconds and stops the scroll in a TikTok or Short. For WrestleAI, that is uploading a match video and getting a scored breakdown. Around the same time he launched Green with a 1M-follower influencer, a me-too concept like Rizz GPT and Plug AI. Both apps got ~1-2M impressions.
What happened
WrestleAI got conversions and downloads from its impressions; Green got about 100 downloads from ~1.8M impressions, which he attributes to it not being novel

- Pre-launch (Idea selection, before launch)
“Both WrestleAI and then this app got around over a million, close to 2 million impressions at the time. Except WrestleAI was getting conversions, getting downloads, and doing really well, while this app Green that I launched got, I think, 100 downloads off like 1.8 million impressions solely because this app didn't follow the purple cow philosophy.”
“And you need that "gotcha" moment that's built into the app that easily conveys what your app does in about 5 seconds.”
