Hire charismatic creators under 50K followers who've had a viral hit, and offer cash

What they did
Skip 100K+ follower influencers (media kits, agents, thousands per video). Look for creators under 50K followers who have had one or two viral videos but don't go viral consistently, are charismatic on camera and have few brand deals. In the email or DM, say explicitly you want to pay cash for a video (rate can come later), what the app does, and that their audience fits. The brand acts as director: give them scripts and train them on the app; TikTok's For You feed supplies the audience.
In their words
Sub Club by RevenueCat · How to Go Viral on TikTok (and Profit From It) — Joseph Choi, Viral App Founders“So, finding people that have less than 50,000 followers, who've maybe hit one or two viral videos in their time on TikTok, but maybe don't go consistently viral.”
“like explicitly say, "I want to pay you for a video in cash," you don't have to say how much.”
“So, if you know how to do marketing, you can give them a script that you know will perform well on the For You page.”
