What they did

Each influencer video goes to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook. Instagram can auto-post a Reel to Facebook at upload, so there's no reason to skip it. Facebook is posted 'because why not'.

What happened

Instagram performs better than TikTok; YouTube about the same (the Reel got 206K views there and downloads were much higher that day); Facebook isn't driving most revenue.

Joseph ChoiWow, just from influencers. So, are you doing uh like TikTok and Instagram?

4:40

Connor BurdYeah, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook. Um a lot of the times it'll be like cross-posting these influencer posts. So, one of the influencers and like my partner for this app, uh his name's Casper, and he has been driving like insane traffic to the app. I think he's driven probably around 35,000 clicks to the website, more honestly. And that's just clicks without like tracking any of our organic install volume from his videos alone.

5:06

Joseph ChoiInteresting. So, that's like link-in-bio clicks?

Joseph Choi… that cross-posts to Facebook video. I mean, a lot of people talk about Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts. Those are like the big three, but then of course there's still Facebook video. And if you for some reason have the Facebook app still installed on your phone, if you go on to the video tab, there's a lot of views on those videos actually. Um do you feel like it's a under-priced channel or do you just cross-post there because why not?

6:33

Connor BurdWe cross-post there I guess mostly because why not, but he uh like these these influencers do have followers on these platforms. Um to kind of like, "I might as well." I don't think they're driving most of the revenue, but if the influencer has a Facebook account, and now you can when you upload a Reel on Instagram, you can have it post to all of your platforms like automatically, there's there's no reason to like not post on Facebook.

6:55

Joseph ChoiInteresting, I see. So, can we look at some of these TikToks?

9:03

Joseph ChoiI see. Yeah, so you cross-post the same stuff on YouTube Shorts, Facebook, TikTok. Is there a specific channel that or is there a platform that outperforms usually or are they all around similar?

9:15

Connor BurdYeah, I'd say that his like Instagram is definitely performing better than TikTok. YouTube, I'd say it's about the same. Like I I'm looking at that Reel now on YouTube, and it got 206,000 views. And I think that actually It's hard to tell because a lot of the YouTube um the call to action is not like through Manychat, so we can't really see how many clicks it's driving. But it did seem like the day that he uploaded it to YouTube, it performed or we had like a lot higher traffic for downloads.
