Read a creator's comments: pick ones whose fans ask personal questions

What they did

Before paying or partnering, read the comments on the creator's regular videos. Shallow 'wow, amazing' comments signal a For You page audience. Deep ones (fans asking about their family or wedding date, requesting specific content) signal a dedicated audience that will convert. Also check that the content is high quality and that the creator weaves apps in seamlessly. Avoid paying thousands to a creator who doesn't convert in your niche.

Joseph ChoiThat makes sense. How do you figure out like how the conversions are? Are you just asking the influencer like, "Hey, I saw you did this brand deal. Did did they get ROI?"

It's not just like very shallow audience, which I think is like super valuable. If you can find an influencer where like, you know, the people are like asking him about their family and their wedding date and all sorts of stuff like that, like you know that this person's going to be able to convert, you know?

29:53

Joseph ChoiRight. And you determine that by looking at the like the comment section on their Yeah. other videos?

29:58

Connor BurdYeah, definitely. Yeah. Like you'll see like these people are Are they commenting just like, "Wow, amazing," or are they commenting like kind of more high-quality comments?

30:06

Joseph ChoiLike this is a good one. Like this he's like, "Oh, mountain biking hack hacks in 2025," and he just show shows a bunch of hacks. And then the top comment is uh or one of the top comments is like, "Do square wheels." It's like they're kind of like interacting and telling him like, "Oh, I want to see this type of content," implying that like they're, you know, they they actually want to see more of his content. They're like kind of a dedicated …
