Connor's outreach for new influencer app partnerships
Email big creators instead of DMing them; find addresses on their YouTube page
Better replies from self-managed creators; an April email led to a deal months later

What they did
Don't DM larger creators: notifications are off and they get a million a month. Look for an email instead. If it's not on Instagram, check their YouTube channel's 'view email address' button (behind a captcha, so few bots scrape it). Self-managed creators with a personal inbox, not an agency, reply much more often. Pitch with their account and a specific app idea for their audience. It's a volume game: many won't reply. A track record ('here's an app I built with another creator, here are the numbers') makes outreach easier over time.
What happened
Much better response rates from self-managed creators. One creator emailed in April replied about a week before recording; after a call, a partnership is moving forward.

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Connor Burd - This 23 Yr Old Genius Makes $1M/Year with No-Code Apps. Here's How“I'd say if you can find an email address, that's easily the best. Um if they don't have an agency and they're managing their own emails, I think I've seen like much better response rates from those people.”
“Like it was funny, I emailed them in maybe April, and just like a week ago, one of these influencers responded like, "Hey, like, you know, just remembered about this email."”
“Yeah, if you see like that "view email address," and you have to do this little captcha, and um you'll actually be able to see like what their email is uh.”
“If I reach out to an influencer and I say like, "Hey, this is an influencer I built an app with recently. Like here's some numbers." They're going to be like, "Wow, I want those numbers."”
