Show a creator five app mock-ups for their audience and let them choose
Settled on one idea, which became Payout; founder says most creators find this appealing

What they did
After a first FaceTime call with the creator, Connor worked out what the audience looks for and made Figma mock-ups for about five app ideas that could convert with that audience. He asked the creator which one resonated most, and they narrowed to one and built it. With new creators he opens with 'this is your account, this is what I think we could build.'
What happened
Narrowed to one concept, Payout (~$45K/month). A creator approached the same way is now moving forward.

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Connor Burd - This 23 Yr Old Genius Makes $1M/Year with No-Code Apps. Here's How“I actually came went through a list of like maybe five ideas of different apps, and I made some like Figma mock-ups for them. I was like, which one of these do you think like resonates the most with your with your audience?”
“Um and then eventually we narrowed in on one of them, and we said, "All right, we're going to build this one."”
“So, for Casper, we had a mutual connection, so I didn't actually build out those Figma mockups uh until we had already had like our first kind of FaceTime call.”
