Give a big creator half the app: you build it, they post the videos
Took the app from zero to ~$100K/month, mostly from the creator's own videos

What they did
Developer (Connor) builds and runs product/paywalls; creator (Casper) owns distribution, 50/50 equity. Make it low-effort for the creator to say yes: build it, ask for one video, no expectations. Casper's suggested pitch to other creators: 'We built this app for you based on this ad or brand deal that went well for you. Here it is. I want to give you 50%. All you have to do is make these videos over and over again,' plus proof a friend did it; optionally 'try one video, I'll give you 100% of the revenue'. Equity keeps the creator inventing new formats when old ones dry up and supplies free ad creatives.
What happened
App scaled from zero to ~$100K/month, majority from Casper's own distribution.
In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Casper Opala - The Stupid Simple Content Strategy That's Making Apps Go Viral“I'd rather partner with someone, give up some equity, and have them handle that whole side, while I handle the whole distribution side.”
“"We built this app for you based on this ad or brand deal that went well for you. Here it is. I want to give you 50%. All you have to do is make these videos over and over again. My friend has done this successfully, made 50K, whatever, whatever."”
“like Connor and I are 50/50 owners, so I'm like if he's not going to do anything, this app is just going to die, so I have to take the responsibility.”
