What they did
While building Visual he noticed many artists used Linktree but thought its pages did not look good. Gave himself two weeks to build an alternative focused on nicer pages, later adding more website-builder features (multiple pages, richer blocks, customization). His advice: pick a validated space, iterate until it works, then commit.

Became a ~$31.5K MRR business

- Pre-launch (Idea)
“As I mentioned, I had seen that people were using Linktree, and so I started digging into it and I was like, "Oh, you know, it's cool that that this exists, but like the pages don't look very good." So, that was kind of like how I started thinking about it. Like, "Let's try and make a tool like this, where you can make your page look nicer."”
“So, that would be my sort of like adapted advice for the AI era is pick a space that's validated, iterate until you feel like you got something, and then lock in if you feel like it's what you want to be working on.”
