Make the paywall look like a plain Apple settings screen
Beat more custom designs 'by quite a long shot'; worked again for a second app
Workedpaywall
What they did
For an app built on stock SwiftUI styling, designed an Apple-esque paywall (app icon at top, SF Pro / SF Pro Rounded text, SwiftUI list-item styles) and tested it against more customized variants. Guest repeated it with another app. A Superwall template exists for this style.
What happened
The SwiftUI-style paywall outperformed all custom variants by a wide margin; also performed well in a second app. Possibly because it matched the rest of the app.
“I actually uh I worked on a couple paywalls for Pedometer++, and uh their design system just follows the typical SwiftUI uh designs”
“The The SwiftUI style actually outperformed everything by quite a long shot.”
“I did try it with another app, uh and uh I was surprised by the results that the SwiftUI-looking app actually does perform fairly well.”
