Shorten plan names, add 'No commitment, cancel anytime', and label the button 'Continue'
+10% conversion over the wordier paywall
Workedpaywall
What they did
Control: plans ordered weekly/annual/monthly with long names ('AI Assistant Weekly', 'AI Assistant Annual'), a small 'Limited time 70% off' badge and a CTA 'Put AI into action'. Variant: plans renamed 'Annual plan', 'Monthly plan', 'Weekly plan' with annual on top and highlighted, price compared against the cheapest plan, badge cut to '70% off' and centered ('limited time' in small text doesn't work; put urgency in the heading only on a true one-time-offer paywall), a check mark 'No commitment, cancel anytime' line, and a plain 'Continue' button.
What happened
Variant converted 10% better; guest attributes most of it to the cleaner product group and the 'cancel anytime' callout.
“You simplify the plan naming, so you see Annual plan, Monthly plan, Weekly plan.”
“So uh in in this case, the biggest reason for the conversion rate increase is the products group here, it's just a lot cleaner, and having that "No commitment, cancel anytime," you know, just call out works really well.”
“The text size is just too small. So if you ever do something like limited-time off, uh you want to have it on a heading.”
