Send yearly buyers to web checkout; keep weekly and monthly in the app
Avoids the billing failures and fraud seen on short web plans; no numbers

What they did
App-to-web variant: route only annual plans to web (Stripe) checkout; weekly/monthly go through in-app purchase, since cheaper short plans bought on the web bring more billing issues and fraud. Use Stripe Managed Payments rather than Stripe Billing for its fraud prevention, chargeback/dispute handling, support, refunds and taxes.
What happened
Guest says short web plans have higher billing failures and fraud; no figures.
