Use a 3-page paywall: try it free, we'll remind you, people love it
~19% ARPU lift vs a one-page paywall, across many apps

What they did
Three-page paywall that tells a story. Page 1: value prop framed as 'we want you to experience [value] for free'. Page 2: 'don't worry, we'll send you a reminder before your trial ends'. Page 3: the convincing page; guest prefers one killer testimonial or social proof over the common trial timeline. Don't cookie-cutter Cal AI's version; keep imagery consistent with the rest of onboarding. Can be combined with the 'design your trial' paywall.
What happened
On average a ~19% ARPU lift vs a standard single-page paywall; one of four tests the guest says win ~97% of the time.
“The first page is really about presenting the value prop messaging. So, we want you to experience some value prop for free.”
“I actually don't like using the timeline. A lot of app developers do, because they see that's what someone else did. I actually like using social proof or a testimonial”
