What they did
For the Series Hamptons campaign (a TV-show-style series with 12 intern spots), Series put up a LinkedIn post and LinkedIn job, got ~2,500 applications, and Eunice personally texted many applicants to invite them into a 'race to the Hamptons' rather than just picking 12. About 150 joined. The race had challenges; one of the last was to invite as many people as possible.
What happened
~2,500 applications, ~150 race participants; the top participant invited 120 people in one day.
“We hand-selected them. We made a LinkedIn post about it, and a LinkedIn job, and we had over, I would say, maybe 2,500 applications.”
“And I just personally texted a lot of them, inviting them to join the Series race.”
“So why don't we make it a little competition, right? Like, use all the channels that you can have.”
“And then, one of the final challenges for the race was to invite as many people as you can. The first-place person actually invited 120 people in 1 day.”
