Kiran Desai - The EXACT System to Go From 0-$10M+ With Your App
JosephSo, the like the way that you tell them to CTA isn't really that specific, it sounds like. It's It's more like a product decision where you have to make the feature look good on camera, and then you just tell them, "Just use it and it'll kind of convert on its own," or is there are there like specific ways that you have them present the product?
KiranI would say usage is the first thing. The second thing is having a very clear CTA, and that it's it's very clear the platform itself is the focus of the video a lot of the times. What I mean by this is like for like the last like four or five seconds of the video, a lot of times what we'll have the creators do is literally just put like the website at the top. And uh so as you can see right now, it says, "Website: studyfetch.com" right there at the bottom. It's very easy to read, very clear. Um he just showed a a the the the value prop of our Tutor Me feature, um and then at the very bottom, it's like, "Here's how you can go try this out yourself. This is what the website is."
JosephThat's really interesting, like showing the the actual URL right in the middle of the of the screen. You would think that if you have like hard CTAs like that, it's it might hurt the engagement. Do you do the same CTAs on all the videos? It seems like on some of them, it's more of a soft C- Like this On this TikTok account, like some of these videos are getting like 10, 30,000 views. Um, but this one, it seems like the CTA is like pretty …
Kiran… she's using our Tutor Me feature uh, which you can upload all your course material onto it uh, and uh Sparky, our AI tutor, will walk you through everything, you can talk directly to him. Um so here, you can see she has the computer screen open, and all she the entire video is her just talking to it. So, every And with the CTA at the bottom, of course. So, this is an example of a format that's worked well for us um because of the feature itself.
KiranI think when the product itself is the reason that the video does well, then you're in the green. That's It's going to convert very very very well. But when you include too many things around the product throughout the video, for example, if the whole video is about something else, and then you loop in the product at the very like last like 5 seconds, it's not going to convert well.
JosephHave you seen this work across other like other niches um of apps, too, where they they're using like a cool some kind of wow factor with the with the product? Like is there any any um niches that you're inspired by?
