Pitch 'keep making your normal videos, just sneak us in', then ask for a call
Calls ~10x the chance of signing; the pitch often lowered creators' prices
Workedcreator-opsinfluencer
What they did
When a creator replies 'what's your budget?', don't lead with price. Explain the deal first: seamless videos, long-term partnership, no script, 'keep doing what you're doing and sneak our app in'. Once they seem interested, ask to jump on a call to finalize; discuss rates only on the call. Manager runs the same script on every call, starting by getting to know the creator. Deals are declined if the creator won't come down to a profitable price.
What happened
Guest estimates calling 10xes the chance of signing on a good deal; the seamless/long-term pitch usually brought prices down, sometimes enough to be profitable.
“So then we would but then we would kind of try and explain, you know, "This is what we want to do. We want it to be seamless videos. We want it to be a long-term partnership," stuff like that”
“then once they kind of seem interested in that, then we say, "You know, we'd love to jump on a call and finalize this." Um, and then the call, you That's when you would then talk about the rates in inside of the call.”
“That usually won them over to bring the price down a little bit.”
