Workedanalytics-attribution
What they did
Run a mobile measurement partner so Meta/TikTok algorithms can optimize, but also add an onboarding attribution question (knowing Instagram, listed first, gets some bias). Amplitude dashboards show ROAS after the Apple fee, trials started by channel, and cost per conversion on TikTok vs Instagram, used to rebalance ad spend during the day.
What happened
Used to see cost per trial by platform and monitor spend through the day

The Superwall Podcast · Asher Herbstman & Thatcher Clough - I Built a $30k/mo App That Helps You Quit Smoking“we have a bunch of different graphs that show what our direct return on ad spend is after the Apple tax, what amount of trials are starting from which channel”
“you can try and do attribution through a mobile measurement platform, and in fact you should, like it's really important for the Meta and TikTok algorithms to be able to attribute”
