Cut up other people's unboxing videos, add a $5 voiceover and post on TikTok
Broke even for 1.5 months, then 200K views overnight and up to $2K/day

What they did
Picked products from AliExpress and listed them before owning stock. Tried 10+ products (Apple Watch bands, fidget toys) before knockoff AirPods Max worked. His own filmed content was bad, so he took others' unboxing and review videos of the real product, cut them up, paid a Fiverr voiceover ($5), added captions and posted on TikTok. Kept posting despite barely breaking even for 1.5 months; after the first hit he doubled down on that format.
What happened
One video hit 200K views overnight with a flood of Shopify orders. The first account reached 25K followers and 18M+ views. Revenue reached ~$2K/day ($50K/month per his website). The store was banned by Shopify, Wix and Stripe and shut after an Apple cease and desist.
- Effort
- 10+ products tested; ~1.5 months of daily posting before the first hit
In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Dris Elamri - Meet The 18y/o Who Solved UGC Marketing (100M Views in 2 Weeks)“I realized I could take other people's videos of, uh, like recordings of like unboxing like real AirPods Maxes or, uh, uh, like yeah, different videos like showing the the real product. I would cut it up, I would pay someone on Fiverr $5 to do a voiceover, I would, uh I would add captions, and then I would post it on TikTok.”
“I had like 200,000 views and my phone was blowing up with the the Shopify notifications.”
