Run 1,000+ A/B tests a year, each product manager owning one area

Guest says testing beats internal debate; no specific numbers

What they did

Everything launched to market (new features, layouts, value messaging) goes through an A/B test. Bottoms-up culture: each PM owns an area/domain with its own goals and roadmap and runs their own tests. An experimentation system measures each test and detects overlaps; tests that could contaminate each other's reads are time-sequenced/staggered. Tests ramp if they win and de-ramp if not. Guardrail: experiences the team would not be proud of or that disrupt members are not even tested; ties go to the member.

What happened

Guest says it replaces debates with learning from members and speeds delivery of value.

“We essentially test anything that we would launch into market, whether it's a new feature, any layout, a new way to talk about the value that we provide”

“Each product manager owns a certain area or domain and they work towards growing that area.”

“if we know that two things might clash and mix each other's reads in some way that we can't disentangle, we would stagger things”
