What they did
Automate physical phones running a custom Android build that loads and unloads the whole device ROM, so each account appears to have its own unique phone. Run 12-24 Instagram accounts per phone per day (100-200 on TikTok), up to 60 comments per account per day, with human-like tapping to avoid detection. Like cold-email inbox warm-up, mix in harmless comments with no CTA or mention (talking about the video or something done with friends) so the account looks like a normal person. A normal device holds ~10 TikTok accounts before trust and reach drop.
What happened
60 devices were enough for a ~300K-comment campaign; they plan to scale to 1,000+ devices (projected 21M comments a month).

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Ivan Peskov & Nicholas Tsvietkov -The App Marketing Strategy No One Talks About“We automated a bunch of physical devices, and we did our own version of Android that can load and unload the ROM of the whole device. So each account will have basically its own unique phone.”
“Like some of our comments are so harmless, like they have no call to actions at all, they have no mentions of anything, just to show that, you know, this is an this is a good account.”
