In their words
Reid Moncada - He went from 0 to $150k by building an ai fashion app (no-code)
Joseph Choi… guys basically distributed nothing at first and just, you know, got an audience, and he was getting an audience, and then you released like the web app version, and then you released the mobile version, and now you're starting to make money, but you completely started with like what is the market demand, what do people resonate with on content and TikTok, and then you are now getting into, I guess, we'll build the product. Um That's interesting.
Reed MancataYeah. And like in our community, right? Like another thing you asked is kind of like what is Max's role. Like he is so much more than just like, you know, an influencer, right? Like, you know, we brought him on, and it's, you know, we we basically needed like a a day-zero team member that interfaces with the community, sits on the product, right, because like he has an audience, and they they live in his comments. Like they are like they message what they want, they comment what's bad about it, they comment saying like, "Hey, you know, we should have XYZ features," and so that's kind of how we like weigh like all of our like product roadmap. And so he kind of sits in this like such a unique position where not only is he like the huge megaphone for the company, but he also is, you know, does the temperature checks of kind of what is their audience and community saying, what are they expressing, what do they want? And at the same time, he's like sits in the design meetings with me and makes these key decisions, and you know, maybe it's not as useful for him to sit in the product and engineering calls, but like it gives him context of like what the hell is actually going on, right? Uh and so, you know, then it gives him a little bit more foundation to, you know, go and and be a megaphone about specific things.
Joseph ChoiYeah, it's a really good reframe of how most people think about marketing as a function and in their company. Like a lot of people do influencer marketing. They, you know, partner with tons of UGC creators, or you know, a bunch of influencers, or paid ads people, but then those people are not really embedded into the company and like really understand the product. And on the other hand, you guys have like a complete loop where the guy who's doing …
