What they did
Micro-influencer program run mostly through an agency (Lauren from Pebble, introduced by the host). Creators are chosen by the quality of their videos (camera angle, lighting, narrative, trend awareness), not follower count. Recruited creators start new accounts from zero, warm them up, then scale. Jae also recruits creators himself through SideShift and Handshake, and uses SpyTok to research trends. He spends time on TikTok daily spotting trends and worked with several teams in parallel.
What happened
Jae says working with these partners helped him scale faster than he could alone.

In their words
The Superwall Podcast · Jae Hwang - This App Makes $2M/Year With This Viral TikTok Strategy“it's really finding a good content creator, not a massive following. So if you see the videos of these creators are creating, you know that they are creating the right videos because they're at the right angle, lights, narratives, and what, you know, trends they're following.”
“she reached out to those creators and then they would create a new accounts from the beginning and then warm up and then scale from there quickly”
“Handshake and SideShift, I use it to recruit creators.”
