In their words
Dmitri Mirakyan - he had nothing.. until he built a stupid simple $30k/mo app with AI
Joseph ChoiMm. That's a That's like a very strong signal for consumer products or, I guess, any product in general. To me, that's a strong signal that it's highly monetizable, too, cuz it sounds like people have It's like very high intent. And when there's a high intent like, "I really need this problem solved," then people want to monetize. So is this like a hard paywall or is it freemium?
Dmitri MirakyanIt's still soft paywall. I mean, at the time when I started building this, um, it took me like 6 months to even monetize cuz I I think I was still running on the old vision of like, "Oh, you build a company, and you get users, and then you monetize it later." Um, but I I think everybody now knows kind of doesn't make sense. But this product is still running on a soft paywall. Um, the AI photos obviously hard paywall because the compute cost on that is quite high. Um, but yeah, I So this still makes money to this day? Yeah.
Dmitri MirakyanUm, I sold the company about 4 or 5 months back. I don't know the financials currently, um, but when I left, it was like, I think it peaked at 30 and then it was making 28k in revenue when I stopped working on it.
