Dris Elamri - Meet The 18y/o Who Solved UGC Marketing (100M Views in 2 Weeks)
Dris ElamriInstinct, yes. So, uh, the first week, um, when we we left Cluely, we're like, "Okay, lowkey, how do we make money?" Um, and we realized, like even like at at the start of Cluely and when we started Instinct, that the one thing every company desperately needs is distribution. Like with AI and the the amount of slop and noise on the internet, it is harder than ever to get people to actually care about something. And, uh, companies understand this,
Dris Elamriand they are willing to pay a lot of money to get distribution. Um, so yeah, I was just talking to a bunch of companies and one of the I I was just going on sales calls, we had no product, we had nothing like tangible that we could sell them on, um, and I would tell them, "We're going to get you a lot of views, we're going to get you users, and we're going to make you money." And obviously every company, uh, likes to hear that. And, um, yeah, we The first week, we signed contracts worth, uh, I guess 1.2 mil annualized
Dris Elamrium, with a bunch of a few companies. And, um, yeah, one of the the first companies we worked with, uh, Decart, they were this billion-dollar AI lab. They had, uh, like 60 people on their engineering team, two people on their marketing team, and they were trying to push this new AI photo, video, uh, consumer app. Um, so we talked to them, we told them about UGC, and we ended up getting them 100 million views in two weeks at sub-30-cent CPM. They …
Dris Elamri… creators is just like a single aspect of sour- of, uh, start- like running UGC programs, and there are a bunch of other things we realized early on, like handling payouts, and making scripts, and, uh, reviewing posts. And early on, uh, we were using like a bunch of different software to manage these programs, and we realized it would it would be much more, I don't know, consolidated into a single platform, the headquarters for running UGC,
Dris Elamriuh, which is we recently launched a a self-service platform to run scalable UGC programs on our app, Methods. Even on the company side, uh, you tell them, "We're going to run your UG- UGC program," they usually are are, I don't know, maybe confused depending on their on how tapped-in they are. But if you tell them, "We're going to make you money, we're going to get you conversions, we're going to make you viral online," they are obviously willing to pay a lot more more, uh, for that. Like Methods, like we want to frame every gig, every side hustle, like dropshipping, crypto,
Dris Elamriuh, UGC, as not like a a gig or a or a side hustle or any other term, we want it to be a method. Like methods are the new way to make money, not just online, not just with AI, but like in the future, uh, the only way to make money will be through methods. There will be no jobs, there will be no McDonald's workers or, uh, even like like growth at startups, or or podcasters, unfortunately, or even founders. Like everyone will just be on the Methods …
