Claims like 'I've made $7,000' (true for some users) triggered 'this is a scam' comments, and showing bank stubs didn't help. Instead use an amount anyone can picture ($20 a night) and then the monthly total ($500), which viewers anchor to something real like a car payment.
What happened
Big-number versions drew scam accusations; the $20/$500 framing 'did serious numbers'.
“We've tried, "I've made $7,000," and whatever.”
“So that's where it's like we take $20 seems super achievable, right? Anyone can imagine a $20 bill in their hand, but then they're bad at math. So you say, "Oh, it's actually an extra $500 a month."”
