Let people close the paywall, then charge when they want more scroll time
Unknownpaywall
What they did
Suggested by an ex-Superwall person and planned as a test: a dismissible paywall so users enter the app and get a ~15-minute scroll budget, then hit the paywall when they tap exercise detection to earn more minutes, at peak desire to keep scrolling.
- Stage
- Pre-launch (planned test)
“But as soon as you press on like the exercise detection, which is the main feature, you get paywalled.”
“But then, you get paywalled, right when like you have the the highest dopamine.”
