What they did
Every video ends with 'Comment "app" and I'll send you the link.' A Manychat automation replies to each 'app' comment with a DM ('Hey there, please click the button below to receive the link') containing a direct store link. A one-word comment is easy, and a wall of 'app' comments makes others join in. The main point is engagement: the comment flood signals Instagram to push the video; the direct link also removes the search step.
What happened
The same format got ~8K views without Manychat and blew up with it; one video had 6,900 comments and their most viral had 62K. ~90K DMs sent, ~33% DM click-through, ~60% Play Store listing conversion; many viewers search for the app instead.

This shipped together with other changes, so the result can't be credited to this alone.
“So this one, we didn't use Manychat, and it only got like 8k. But this one, we started using Manychat.”
“So you comment "app," I'll send you a automated reply, and I send it to your DMs.”
“the biggest part of the strategy with Manychat here is is really like engagement, right? You create so much I wouldn't say fake engagement, but it it artificially boosts engagement, and it pushes your video like crazy”
