Add a discount countdown, and really shrink the discount when it ends
Timers lift conversion 'almost anytime'; honest step-down keeps it compliant

What they did
Show a timed offer on the paywall (e.g. '50% off for 5 minutes'). Most apps leave the same timer and discount after it expires. Instead, when the 5 minutes are up, change the offer to 30% or 40% off so you deliver what you promised; Web2Wave and Visa/Mastercard rules point to this fix. Works on web and mobile paywalls.
What happened
Guest says timers and countdowns increase conversions and work almost every time; the step-down removes the compliance risk.
